It would be amazing if there was an option to make the progress bar you see for a game in the app reflected the current playthrough of that game and not the total time played in Steam vs the htlb estimate. Maybe the app could snapshot your Steam playtime when you start a new playthrough, that way the Steam play time can still be used.
Maybe something like below:
(Current steam playtime - Steam playtime at beginning of new playthrough) ÷ how long to beat estimate
