Display game title in place until cover art is loaded#567

?

The app has some cache issues, because of which the “in progress” section often doesnt display any cover art because the cache was deleted. this makes it difficult to select the game you want because everything is just grey until the cover art is loaded. instead, it should display the game name in place of the cover art until it is loaded.

Hi, could you attach a screenshot of what you mean? Is this on iOS or android?

For me, the whole app is really slow right now. When you open a game’s detail page, it takes 4-5 seconds before you can start scrolling through the information

@Debe286 what device are you using? there’s a fair amount of info that gets loaded in when you open a game page, but it should happen in the background and not affect the UI

A few weeks ago it worked normal. In the video I opened the detail page and swiped slowly up and down.

@Debe286 would you be able to go into gametrack settings > sections > game details > toggle “prices” to off? i think that one is causing the problem when info refreshes and it has to layout the chart multiple times

That might help a little bit but still slow downs. Seems like there ist a slow down before the “steam deck” appears in the “available” section

@Debe286 in that video the prices section is still showing.

I don’t see it anymore. I deactivated it like you said.
